Lester downright masterful as homers sink Cueto, Giants

Anthony Rizzo also hit a homer, a two-run smash, that plated he and Kris Bryant in the fourth inning. The Giants scored their only run in the fifth inning after Brandon Crawford doubles, plating Buster Posey. Posey reached by smacking a double of his own. He currently sits at third in the National League in batting average at .361. For the Giants, Johnny Cueto tossed six innings, allowing all four runs on five hits and a walk. Cueto did have one positive on the night as he struck out eight on 98 pitches. Cueto's era moved up to 4.64, ranking 31st in the NL. Blach struck out 4 while allowing 5 hits and 2 walks. Brandon Belt went deep for the 8th time this season, a solo shot in the 4th. Brandon Crawford plated Belt on a go-ahead single in the 6th and Derek Law claimed the save as the Giants beat the Dodgers 2-1. Dodgers' starter Rich Hill went 5.0 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits and no walks, while striking out 6. Chris Taylor notched his 4th homer of the year for the Dodgers' only run.
