Joe Panik, Brandon Crawford, and Eduardo Nunez notched 2 RBIs each to propel the San Francisco Giants to an 8-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Giants' starter Jeff Samardzija went 6.2 innings allowing 3 runs on 9 hits and no walks, while striking out 8.

Reds' pitcher Tim Adelman only lasted 1.0 inning, leaving the game with stiffness in his neck. He allowed 4 runs (3 earned) on 3 hits and 2 walks, with no strikeouts. Scooter Gennett plated 2 on a single in the 5th for the Reds.

The Reds fall to 19-18, tied for 3rd in the NL Central. The Reds will play the Cubs in Chicago on Tuesday.

The Giants move to 15-24, crawling out of last place in the NL West. The Giants will face their rival, the Los Angeles Dodgers at home tomorrow.
