Ty Blach tossed 7.0 innings for the San Francisco Giants, allowing only 1 run. Blach struck out 4 while allowing 5 hits and 2 walks. Brandon Belt went deep for the 8th time this season, a solo shot in the 4th. Brandon Crawford plated Belt on a go-ahead single in the 6th and Derek Law claimed the save as the Giants beat the Dodgers 2-1.

Dodgers' starter Rich Hill went 5.0 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits and no walks, while striking out 6. Chris Taylor notched his 4th homer of the year for the Dodgers' only run.

The Giants extend their winning streak to 5 games, sitting at 17-24. They are still 4th in the NL West, 8.5 games behind the Rockies.

The Dodgers fall to 22-18, 3rd in the NL West, 3.0 games behind the Rockies.

Each team will send their best pitcher to the mound tomorrow as Johnny Cueto faces Clayton Kershaw at 12:45 p.m. PT in San Francisco.
