May 15- D-backs Go Deep 3 Times in 8th, Giants' Cain Hits Historic Mark

The San Francisco Giants extended their win streak to 4 games as they beat the rival Los Angeles Dodgers 8-4. Buster Posey went deep for the 7th time this season and Eduardo Nunez plated 3 on an RBI single in the 4th and RBI double in the 8th.
Matt Cain regained his confidence on the mound, tossing 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 5. He also became only the 12th Giants pitcher to hit the 2,000 innings mark.
Dodgers starter Brandon McCarthy went 5.2 innings, allowing 6 runs on 8 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 5. The Dodgers started a comeback in the 9th inning, scoring 3 times, but still falling 4 runs short.
The Giants will face the Dodgers again tomorrow in San Francisco.

Lonnie Chisenhall hit a 3-run homer, helping the Cleveland Indians along to a 5 run 1st inning and a 8-7 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays.

Freddie Freeman hit a 3-run homer as the Atlanta Braves poured 13 hits on the Toronto Blue Jays' pitching staff. Nick Markakis also had 3 RBIs to lift the Braves over the Jays 6-3.

Jose Altuve notched 3 RBIs in his return to the Houston Astros lineup. But his return was overshadowed by Yuli Gurriel who hit his first career grand slam to beat the Miami Marlins 7-2.

Yasmany Tomas hit a 3-run homer to break a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the 8th. Jeff Mathis and Daniel Delcalso also went deep to give the Arizona Diamondbacks a 6 run 8th inning, and a 7-3 victory over the New York Mets.
White Sox 3
Angels 5
Mike Trout and Kole Calhoun went deep back-to-back to spark a 4 run 5th inning for the Los Angeles Angels, lifting them over the Chicago White Sox 5-3.
Brewers 5

Hunter Renfroe hit a walk-off 2-run homer in the bottom of the 10th to give the San Diego Padres the win over the Milwaukee Brewers. This came after Eric Sogard crushed a go-ahead home run in the top of the 10th.
Athletics 5
Mariners 6
The Seattle Mariners scored 2 in the top of the 9th to go-ahead and snap their 4 game losing streak by beating the Oakland A's 6-5. Nelson Cruz and Kyle Seager each hit homers for the Mariners.
